Cleansing from the Inside Out

I take an avid interest finding out the best way to maximise the bodies natural capabilities. How do we find our bodies true potential, to feel energised without stimulants, having a clear mental state, feeling healthy without bloating and so on. It can be hard to figure out what to do amongst all the noise, but I'm happy to be the guinea pig for you guys ;) So recently, I tried colonic irrigation, something I’d be wanting to do for a while.
If that’s what you're thinking, yes, it is what it sounds like. It’s not the prettiest of detoxes, but I guess any of the good ones aren't pretty or easy. After all, detoxing is ridding toxins from the body, so to expel them in a fast tracked way can be a bit of a shock to the system. We are throwing the body into a new way of operating, killing off dead or dysfunctional cells, or restarting the bodies natural detoxing system.
Lets get to it. What do they do? You lie in a kind of toilet bed and have water which flushes up your backside through a small tube. It seems pretty daunting I know, I was shitting myself during my first appointment, literally. Don’t stress you can barely feel it. Water goes in, other stuff comes out… It’s pretty simple really. Lie back, watch TV, send some emails, and voila. 45 minutes later, all cleansed. It doesn’t hurt, but it does take a little getting used too. Occasionally if you're quite congested or storing a lot of toxic waste, you may feel a little queasy. This is totally normal, as this is your body informing you it's shaking things around and kicking out the bad guys. Generally though, you might just feel a little full or bloated during, but that’s about it. And it’s very safe.
So WHY you might ask? And does it really cleanse you?
Our intestines are about 8 meters long and all scrunched up inside us. It’s easy for waste to get caught along the walls of our intestines and just kind of sit there, becoming toxic. This can create IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), bloating, constipation, off bowel movements and so on. There are a whole array of other symptoms you could be suffering which stems from a poor elimination system in your body, such as fatigue, allergies, acne, dark circles under the eyes, cold hands and feet, nervousness, depression, backaches and the list continues. It can even help with… drum roll… weight loss!
Now you probably love your coffee, but what about coffee through the other end? Sounds crazy, but it’s a thing. It’s called a coffee enema, and it’s the same thing but instead of water they use coffee. The coffee helps aggravate toxins hugging the intestinal walls, so it allows for a more intense cleanse. I’ve had this too. It tingled a bit. I guess I still got that coffee buzz, just in a whole new way. Ha!
I’m having about twelve treatments fairly close together, to do the ultimate detox and spring clean. Your clinician will suggest how many treatments would be suitable for you. After just TWO appointments, my skin was noticeably better. I was pretty astounded to be honest. Any spots just simply disappeared. A colonic cleanse can help rid metabolic toxins (which I had, from from things like nutrient imbalances, sugar and even water), and gets the body absorbing nutrients correctly again. I can tell my body is responding better to foods. There are some foods I eat that irritate my stomach and always have. However, normally it would take 24-48 hours to show up. Since having my treatments, my body responds almost instantly. There are a whole bunch of other benefits, but I’ll leave you to figure that out for yourself! Colonic Cleanses are now going to be part of my yearly detox program! I couldn’t recommend them more. Thanks Colon Care Clinic!
